Cooperative Preschool

The preschool program focuses on the developmental, social and skills needs, of the child based upon their age appropriate level. As a cooperative school, parents are actively involved in their child’s learning process. Tower Hill School sets the stage and provides materials for children to learn through discovery, experimentation, and play.

The following programs are available:

  • 2 1/2-year-old program:
    Children need to be 2 1/2 by October 1st  *children with birthdates in April and May will be considered on a case by case basis
  • 2 days a week, mornings 9:00-11:00 am
  • 3-year-old program:
    Children need to be 3 by October 1st
    3 days a week, mornings 9:00-11:30 am
  • Pre-K program:
    Children need to be 4 by October 1st
    4 or 5 days a week, mornings 9:00-11:30 am

Curriculum for the Preschool:

A day in the life of a Tower Hill preschool child consists of free play, circle time, outdoor playtime, snack time, and a brief rest period. Daily projects are led by the teacher and supplemented with activity centers such as:

  • Cooking, Science and Nature
  • Painting and Drawing, Dramatic Play
  • Clay and Play, Building Blocks
  • Games and Puzzles, Music and …
  • Books, books and more books.

Tower Hill School is a non-profit Early Childhood Program licensed by the State of New Jersey, Department of Human Services, Bureau of Licensing, Division of Youth and Family Services. Children of all faiths and races are welcome to attend.
