Tower Hill School Tower
Hill Cooperative Pre-School was founded in 1962. A group of members
from the First Presbyterian Church wanted to offer a quality pre-school
program that would involve parents in both the classroom and administration.
The pre-school officially opened in September 1963. Thirty children
were enrolled in two classes. The staff included two teachers and
the Director. By 1988 the schools enrollment reached 200 with the
addition of Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and an Extended Care program.
In 1998 a Primary School was added for the education of children in grades pre-first, first, second and third. The staff has grown to over 40 with many of the teachers having taught at Tower Hill for over 15 years. In 2003, Tower Hill School celebrates its 40th year of operation. |
