Cooperative Pre-School

The pre-school program focuses on the developmental, social and skills needs, of the child based upon their age appropriate level.  As a cooperative school, parents are actively involved in their child’s learning process.  Tower Hill School sets the stage and provides materials for children to learn through discovery, experimentation, and play. 

The following programs are available:

  • 2 1/2-year-old program:
    Children need to be 2 1/2 by October 1st
    2 days a week (morning and afternoon based on enrollment), 9:00-11:00am or 11:30-1:30pm
  • 3-year-old program:
    Children need to be 3 by October 1st
    2 and 3 days a week, 9:00-11:30am
  • Older 3-year-old program
    Children need to be 3 by June 30th
    4 days a week afternoon class, 12:30-3:00pm
  • 4-year-old program:
    Children need to be 4 by October 1st
    3 and 4 days a week morning class, 9:00-11:30am
  • Older 4-year-old program:
    Children need to be 4 by June 30th
    5 days a week, 12:30-3:00pm
  • Pre-K Program:
    For children who have missed the cutoff date for Kindergarten (Sept-Dec birthdays) or for when parents have decided to provide a child with another year of growth.
    5 days a week, 9:00-11:30am. Some co-op time required. Parents are encouraged to participate in school activities throughout the year.
Curriculum for the Pre-School:

 A day in the life of a Tower Hill pre-school child consists of free play, circle time, outdoor playtime, snack time, and a brief rest period.  Daily projects are led by the teacher and supplemented with activity centers such as:

  •  Cooking, Science and Nature
  •  Painting and Drawing, Dramatic Play
  •  Clay and Play, Building Blocks
  •  Games and Puzzles, Music and …
  •  Books, books and more books.


Tower Hill School is a non-profit Early Childhood Program licensed by the State of New Jersey, Department of Human Services, Bureau of Licensing, Division of Youth and Family Services.  Children of all faiths and races are welcome to attend.
