Primary SchoolExperience-orientated learning describes our approach to academics. Tower Hill Primary school teachers believe that children learn best through active exploration. Field trips, cooking, nature exploration and more enrich the academic experience. We are a hands-on, learn by doing school. Multi-sensory strategies are used to address the many learning styles of our students.Kindergarten students must meet the cutoff age of their home district. The program is a half-day session (either morning or afternoon). Class size is limited to fifteen students with a certified head teacher and assistant teacher. Pre-First, First, Second and Third Grades are limited to a class size of ten students with a certified head teacher and assistant teacher. The Pre-First program was developed for children who may not be developmentally ready for first grade and need an extra year to grow. This program runs from 9am to 1pm, until January when the day is lengthened to 3pm. The hours for First, Second and Third grade are from 9am to 3pm. Curriculum
